Sportec SPR1 in Nardo
Again this year was Sportec with the SPR1 at Nardo High-Speed Event oganized by Continental and Autobild. The weather conditions were initially well, cool air, dry asphalt, only the wind made the record laps more difficult.
After the data recorders and cameras were installed, the hunt could begin. Unfortunately, a broken oil pressure line from the right turbocharger canceled the record lap. But on the data-recording it is clear to see that at 378km/h is not yet final. This confirms the recently driven 386km/h, which does not mark the end because of the racetrack topography.
A detailed report can be read in the current issue of AUTO BILD SPORTSCARS 12/2007.
